TESTING

The laboratory undertakes quality testing of raw drugs and products and provides Certificate of Analysis as per Pharmacopoeial standards. It has been recognized as a certifying body by the department of ISM & H, Govt. of India. The laboratory has the expertise and the facilities to conduct physical, physicochemical test, chemical assays, HPTLC, HPLC and microbiological tests to especially service the small-scale units (SSU’s) involved in manufacture of medicines. Testing of required raw drugs can be taken up for customers on contract.

To further help the SSU’s and traders, who cannot afford to set up a laboratory of their own, cost effective and simple authentication kits are being developed, which the users themselves can test with minimum laboratory infrastructure.

The kitcomes complete with an instruction manual pamphlet. Two plants of trade importance have been taken up in the current year to be developed into a kit.
