    Consume decoction prepared with khadira in a dose of 40-60 ml twice or thrice a day in empty stomach. This helps in controlling Ksoudra meha (diabetes)
  2. KHADIRA KVATHA (SUSRUTA SAMHITA, chikitsa sthana, chapter 9, sloka 5):
    Consume decoction prepared with khadira in a dose of 40-60 ml twice or thrice a day in empty stomach. This recipe helps in curing medogata kusta [skin diseases aggravated due to vitiated medas (muscle-fat)]
  3. KHADIRA SITA KASAYA (ASHTANGA HRIDAYA, uttara sthana, chapter 39, sloka 103):
    A paste is prepared by taking powder of khadira in quantity of 24 gm. This is smeared to the interior of an iron vessel, which is filled with water and kept overnight. Next morning, consume 200ml of this water. This can be followed for period of one month. This recipe imparts rejuvenative action over the body.
