Layout and design of gardens

This garden is landscaped using the natural contours of the site. These gardens are created with appropriate landscaping suiting to the physical features and providing the ambience of a conservation and education. It is a masterpiece of proper land utilization amalgamating the buildings and other permanent structures of the organization. These gardens are grouped under two main themes viz. Plants used in every day life and the plants of conservation concern. During 2002-2006 we have established 20 and several stand alone plants that will instill curiosity in the visitors mind. The gardens also has interesting features like water body, pergolas, rockery, climber tunnels, winding paths, hedges and lush-green lawns.

Special effort is made to capture plants from different ecoregions and geographical zones of the country. Thus there is visible evidence of having different morphological variations. Further to cater to the need of visitors self-explanatory signages are provided.
